Michelle is an energetic, strength-based, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who holds a Master’s Degree from Fairfield University and a Bachelor of Science Degree from the Pennsylvania State University.
Michelle has a wide range of experience providing clinical supervision, individual, couples and group therapy in various outpatient and home-based settings. She strongly believes in tailoring treatment to fit individual needs while utilizing empirically-supported approaches, including Emotionally Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.
Michelle was awarded an AAMFT Minority Fellowship from SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration), which fosters specialized training of behavioral health professionals in the treatment and prevention of substance abuse along with the commitment to cultural competency. Michelle is dedicated to social justice in the MFT field and is a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
Michelle enjoys skiing, yoga, and avidly reading every book on the New York Times Best Sellers list.
